Both alternative car parks will clearly be sign posted.

There will be stewards in both locations. The Community Centre car park is allocated for disabled parking.

PEDESTRIAN ACCESS TO VIEW TABLEAUX BEFORE THE PROCESSION

Due to The Old Market being a building site pedestrian access is only available from the entrance by Co-op, where you can walk up through if you wish to view the Tableaux before the procession.

The peoples choice

(John Moyse memorial cup)

Thank you to everyone who voted online for their favourite float. This competition was to introduce The John Moyse People’s Choice Cup, which is new to our Carnival this year, and donated by the Moyse family in memory of the late John Moyse.

John was a dedicated Carnival supporter who enjoyed taking part in many comical floats over the years.
His ambition was to put smiles on many people’s faces with his showmanship and entertainment.

The winner was The Jolly Boys with The Hatherleigh Village People.  John would be so proud of his Jolly Boys.

Visual Impact Winners

(Jackie Entwistle Cup)

Every year we award The Visual Impact/Jacky Entwistle Cup to the float that was seen to be most eye catching out of all the amazing entries. This years winner is Carnival (Wonnacott, Dilling, King, Bater, Lumbly, and Squire Families).
